XYRO BLADE BATTLE

A game where you play as a rotating top, with randomly generated parts. Defeat your opponents in an arena and claim your victory. Every run your Xyro Blade will look slight different and so does your opponent.

Ello everyone! ^_^ This is my entry for Kenney's 2021 Game Jam and it's my second ever game jam but doing it solo for the first time. I really enjoy this game jam and I felt that I've learn a lot through this experience!

Use WASD or Arrow Keys to control your XyroBlade. 

Keys	Movement
W or ↑	UP / move towards the background
A or ←	Left / Move towards the left
S or ↓	Down / Move towards the foreground
D or →	Right / Move towards the right

Volume: unfortunately there isn't an in-built volume control for the jam version. May I suggest using your volume mixer to adjust instead.

Spoiler Alert: -Gameplay Tips 

• The faster you go the more damage you generate and the more action line appears, stored damage will be lost upon collision with enemy. Also, don't get knock out of the arena.
• The lower your health the slower you spin, same goes for the enemies.

FPS Issue

If your FPS is too low, consider toggling on Hardware Acceleration on your browse. To do so, simply head to your browser setting and search for "hardware acceleration" like so: 

• If you fall together with the last enemy you'll get stuck in eternal falling screen.
• You can sometimes get stuck on the edge.

Note: if you encounter any of the bug above, just refresh the page. Sorry for the inconvenience. 

• Customisable Xyroblade with a variety of parts.
• Have a UI to allow player to customise their own Xyroblade.
• Add stats to the game.
• Each parts provide different stats.
• Add more levels with unique mechanic each.
• Add more effect.
• Get a less derivative name for the game.
